So Christmas has been and gone for another year, hope everyone enjoyed their holiday season. Our stock took a hit (in a good way!) with a combination of the new location and everyone buying presents! But we're re-equipped now with restocked and new products alike.

New Store Update

Just a quick update on the store moving process. The old location is now closed, we're currently moving everything to the new place along with the new items and getting them all set up nicely! Its a big task but we're hoping to have it ready very soon.

OverWorld Is Moving!

Apologies about the lack of website updates lately, but we've been busy getting the store's next adventure under way.

OverWorld will be moving next month from its current location to a new one at:

107 Jackson Street, Petone.

Along with being a lot easier to find (its on the main road, closer to the train station end, next to Go Fish!) the new location will be bigger and filled with (as well as the usual cool items you expect) a whole lot of new products to satisfy your collectable needs.

We're really excited about the new opportunity, the last few years have been great and we thank you so much for your patronage. While it'll be sad to close the chapter on the original store, we look forward to bigger and better things to come in the next. Hope to see you there!

Petone Street Fair

The annual Petone Street Fair is this Saturday! If you've never been before its basically a carnival type event that takes place up and down Jackson Street here in Petone.

OverWorld will be open through-out the day with loads of new stock out for sale so make sure to come check us out! We'll also have some items on a stall out on the main street (some new, some old/reduced priced items) but the bulk of the new stuff will be in store.

Also please note to get everything all set up for Saturday, OverWorld will be closed on Friday 18th February, just that one day only, afterwards regular hours will resume. We're sorry for any inconvenience.

The old carts will work on anything up to the Game Boy Advance SP so if you're looking for some old handheld gaming goodness check out the various titles we have. While obviously DS and to a lesser extent GBA games are still readily available, the old old classic ones are a bit harder to track down now.

Sega Retro Game Update

A few new updates from the Sega retro game side of things in store.

- Mega Drive II / Mega CD II big combo bundle, we have been selling them separately so far but now here is one that comes with both consoles, controller and all the cords you need to get it up and running, 3 games (Sonic 2, Andretti Racing, Fifa Soccer). $89.00.

- Master System (I) yeah the original Master System console not the more known II model so many of us had (although there is one of them in store as well heh). Compatible with all the regular games, but allows you to also play those rare Sega Card games if you have any of them or utilise the crazy-rare 3D glasses also.
